2025 Membership & Boat Storage Renewal
Note: if you are a new member joining the club at any time of the year, Do NOT use this renewal page, instead please use the New Member Application form on the Join BPRC page.
Existing members: Renewing your annual membership takes the following 3 steps:
- Fill out the Renewal Form and Waiver here. Note that each family member must submit a separate waiver in order to use the club.
- If you store a private boat at BPRC, you must also submit an annual Boat Storage Agreement here. You will pay for boat storage in step 3. If you do not store a boat, skip to Step 3.
- Pay all dues and storage fees. 1) fee-free by check or online by Zelle, or 2) with added fees by PayPal using the PayPal option below.
Any way you pay PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME with your payment and note what the fees are for.
Check or Zelle payments: Calculate your payment using the below table. Select and total all applicable dues/storage fees, then pay the combined total by check or online using Zelle. Remember to indicate your name and the details of the payment ie ‘Membership’ or ‘Membership & Indoor 1x’ etc on your check or as a note in Zelle.
- Checks may be made out to Berkeley Paddling and Rowing Club and left in the mailbox at the back of the boat house or mailed to: Berkeley Paddling and Rowing Club, P.O. Box 99285, Emeryville, CA 94662
- Zelle payments may be sent to treasurer@berkeleypaddlingandrowing.org

PayPal payments: Using the PayPal links below first pay your Membership dues by clicking on the “Buy Now” button. If you also need to pay for boat storage, next select the correct option from the Boat Storage Fee dropdown list then use the “Pay Now” button. Each selection has the PayPal fee built into it. Note you will need to make separate payments for each membership and for each boat’s storage, you cannot combine payments into one lump sum using PayPal.

BPRC Guest Policy
Members may bring as many guests as they like. Any guest visiting more than 3 times is expected to join as a member. All guests must complete a Guest Waiver before using the Club Equipment.
Emergency Information
For your personal safety, it is recommended that you carry your cell phone in a waterproof bag if paddling or rowing alone. Click HERE to review and download helpful hints in case of an emergency.
Club Emails
BPRC group emails provide all of the info you need to stay informed. If you’d like to be added to the Club’s group email list, send an email to joinbprc@googlegroups.com. Use “Subscribe to BPRC Emails” in the subject line. Please include your full name in the body of the email. Once subscribed, you can set your email preferences on the group forum page.

Safety

Water Ski Priority Schedule

Advanced Boat Handling and Checkout Procedure
The club has a few advanced, flatwater boats available for use by members. To use one of these advanced boats, you must first demonstrate your ability by completing a rowing skill check list with a club mentor. Prior to contacting a mentor to set up a checkout meeting, please watch the following boat handling videos:

Boat Buddies
We have created a new Google group for BPRC members who are looking for someone to paddle or row with, or to simply help with hauling the boats back and forth. To join, please send an email to joinbprc@googlegroups.com and ask to be added to the Boat Buddies group.
