In the first week of August, club members gathered to clear the boathouse floor in preparation: boats, oars and miscellaneous pieces of equipment were temporarily relocated to the outside storage area and the gym. Over the course of the next week, the floors were sanded, refinished and left to cure. Thanks to the many volunteers – especially Ted Getschell, who helmed the project – who helped with this project.
